The Crusades' mission was to look for the Holy Grail. The 3rd Indy was called the Last Crusade because they're the "last crusade" that looked for the Holy Grail. Not because it should be the last Indy.
Crystal Skull was enjoyable for me. It's what I expected an Indy movie should be. It was like the X-Files. RotLA - ark emiting energy that killed Nazis. LC - Holy Grail getting found and has healing powers (whoop dee doo). KCS - magnetic crystal skulls and aliens. I'll take aliens anytime.
